This may seem an odd place to begin but since it is the eve of departure, I will. Thanks again to our generous neighbors, the Cothrens; we had a Valentine's Day dinner at The Irregardless Cafe. We used the gift certificate Paula, Trevor and Jeremy gave us for Christmas. We had not been to Irregardless for years and used to really like it. Not so much that night. In their defense, they were really heavily booked that night and had a very limited menu for this special night. We were disappointed, but glad we weren't spending our own money that night!
Irregardless had nothing on their dessert menu to temp us. Not wanting to have a Valentine's Day without a sweet ending, we located Escazu, our neighborhood chocolatier and spent a small fortune on a small box of individually selected and packed chocolate. They were mighty yummy!
